I haven't sent you a blog in a long time so I thought it was due---right before leaving Thailand/Cambodia l. I can't believe it…..another country!
Dad and I had a lovely day here at San Diego. We lucked out and his other hotel was full so they have us staying at the Grand Hyatt right at the Seaport Village. Absolutely beautiful and we walked around, ate seafood, laid around the pool…and of course, talked about our favorite daughter in the whole wide world.
You have a long travel journey ahead of you. It will be so weird the thou will be briefly two hours away. I love you so much and I hope you love every second of Ecuador. I know this essay thing will be impossible so your dad and I are writing rough drafts hoping we capture your voice. There will be no one more deserving at getting considered. You will have to skype your interview ( all out of staters Skype and you have a lot of practice on it. Not easy to do without fidgeting and moving around and keeping your eye on the camera) and your resume shines.
Cool on having a bit of networking for that coffeehouse. Matt told me he talked with one of the asst managers of something. Not sure, but never can hurt! If you get a chance shoot him a quick email and give him a thanks!
Here's a couple of pics of dad and me
