Welcome to Palampur, India!
Known as the Tea Capitol of Northern India, Palampur is nestled at the base of the Dhauladhar Mountain Range of the Himalayans.   This quaint mill town, population 70,000 is surrounded by tea gardens and pine forests.  The name is derived from PULUM, meaning lots of water.  Palampur hosts a beautiful luxury hotel and an upscale market where one can buy Nikes or one of India's  woolens items, like shawls.  The best paragliding in the world is found in Palampur.
The 2015 Paragliding
 World Cup actually ends today,
making way for Sarah Moratz and her new 7 week adventure!
 Soar, baby, soar!
